Do you like cooking and fine. You've seen reality TV shows with the chefs competing for top chef and find interesting. Anything that gets your attention, you may find yourself interested in going to school to learn the art of gastronomy.
Although there are not many scholarships available for culinary education, it is also not much competition, thus making your chances of receiving a scholarship better.
So where do you look for opportunities for culinary scholarships?
If you're still in high school, start with your guidance counselor to see what kind of culinary scholarships and awards they know, locally, regionally and nationally. Very often, the High schools themselves offer monetary rewards for good students, or more dedicated clubs and activities, which could include cooking, home economics or a professional club. If not, at least they should be able to direct you to other sources for keeping track of this substance is part of their work.

4. Institute of Food Technologists – Professionals in the field of improving the availability, nutrition and safety of the world's food supply. 5. National Restaurant Association – The National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation (NRAEF) encourages and supports young secondary, GED graduates, the undergraduates, ProStart COA, and educators who are committed to continue their education and improving their career in the restaurant and foodservice industry by awarding scholarships through its Scholarships.
6. International Cake Exploration Society – CES encourages the art of cake decorating by awarding one or more annual scholarships to candidates considered most likely to develop and promote this art form.
